Where Dreams Come True — Rainbow Landmark
On December 12, 2008, Iris and Mort November unveiled and dedicated a new "Rainbow" landmark, Where Dreams Come True, a sculpture designed by Hector Vega and gifted by the Novembers in celebration of Mort's daughter, Debra Ann November. The magnificent 16-foot-tall multi-color sculpture shows a little girl on one side and a young boy in the other reaching for a rainbow. Holding up the rainbow represents children holding the hospital in high regard, says Mr. Vega.
The sculpture welcomes patients and families at the entrance of the University Hospitals Case Medical Center's Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital on Adelbert Road in University Circle.
The sculpture is a unique collaboration of Cleveland artistry and philanthropy.
